Alaskan Pollock is broadly distributed in the North Pacific Ocean and eastern and western Bering Sea. In the Gulf of Alaska, Pollock are considered as a single stock separate from those in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands. This species is one of the more deep-bodied members of the cod family.
FISHING SEASON
Year round. In Alaska from January through April (Bering Sea) and then June through October (Gulf of Alaska). Pollock is also caught in Russia waters.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS
