Yellowfin sole are a flatfish, with both eyes on one side of their body, their underside is pale. It is the largest flatfish fishery in the United States. Yellowfin sole are named for their yellowish fins. The body shape is generally round, with rounded edges on the tail fin. In the US, this specie is also called flounder. All our processed sole fillets are MSC certified and the raw material is caught in Alaska.
